Description
The Banana Exbeerience is a pale wheat beer in the German way. In the glass, the beer should appear as a light and cloudy drink. The color should be around 8 on the scale from the European Brewery Convention (EBC). The taste has notes of banana and is very mild. It should be around the designated International Bittering Unit (IBU) of 12. The final volume of alcohol should be around 5.4% and therefore a nice drink to a nice meal.

- 370 g Briess Bonlander Munich Malt
- 100 g Weyermann Acidulated Malt

- 2 times 11.1 g Tettnanger

- 18.5 g WYEAST 3068 Weihenstephan Weizen
- Sugar:
- 115 g Sucrose

- Mashing
- 3770g pouring mashing into 11.7 liters of water at 49 °C results in 43 °C. Rest for 20 minutes.
- Heat up to 63 °C. 30 minutes rest.
- Heat up to 72 °C. 30 minutes rest.
- Heat up to 78 °C. 10 minutes rest.
- Mashing when iodine normal

- Preparing Priming sugar 115 g (Sucrose) in 550 ml water boil for 10 min
